Features

Everything your tank needs, nothing it does not

ReefLogix is built around the few things reef keepers do every week: test the water, read the numbers, keep up with maintenance and enjoy the livestock.

Log in seconds

Tap the value that matches your test kit card

Each parameter shows five quick values that line up with common color cards. Tap one and ReefLogix moves to the next test. Need a precise number? Tap Exact and type it.

  • One tap per value, with Skip for anything you did not test.
  • Water change today with a quick percent, which also checks off your water change reminder.
  • Test kit photo and notes for the readings you want to remember.

Trends and ideal ranges

Every chart shows the ideal band for reef tanks, so you can tell at a glance whether a reading is drifting. Scrub the line for any date, compare this week to last, and check the average, lowest and highest value.

Test saved

A clear answer after every test

When you save a test, ReefLogix tells you what is right where it should be and what needs a look. If something is off, you get one practical tip with a button to act on it.

  • Streaks like "27 tests on schedule" keep the routine going.
  • Tips for the worst value first, for example a 20% water change when nitrate creeps above 10 ppm.
  • One tap to schedule a water change or a retest for tomorrow.

Reminders

Maintenance that remembers itself

A water change every 7 days and a water test every 3 days are set up for you. Change the day and time, mark them done from the notification, or snooze for an hour.

  • A week view and a timeline of everything that is due.
  • Local notifications scheduled on your device, with Mark done and Snooze 1 hour.
  • Custom reminders for dosing, filters, cleaning and feeding with ReefLogix Plus.

FAQ

Questions, answered

When can I get ReefLogix?

ReefLogix is in final testing and coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. This page will link to both stores on launch day.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 17 or later, and Android phones, foldables and tablets with Android 13 or later. It adapts to every screen size, in portrait and landscape, in light and dark mode.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign up and no login. Open the app and log your first test.

Where is my data stored? Is it backed up?

Only on your device, inside the app. ReefLogix has no servers and no cloud sync, so we never see or hold your data. With Plus you can export your readings as a CSV file and keep a copy wherever you like. Your phone's own backup may include app data, depending on your device and settings.

What happens to readings older than 7 days in the free version?

They are kept. The free version shows the last 7 days in trends, history and stats, and Home always shows your latest value for each parameter. Older readings stay saved on your device and appear the moment you unlock Plus.

Is ReefLogix Plus a subscription?

No. ReefLogix Plus is a one-time purchase of 4.99 USD, with the local price set by Apple and Google. Pay once and keep it, including on a new device that uses the same Apple Account or Google account.

Can I move Plus between iPhone and Android?

Purchases belong to the store you bought from. Plus bought on the App Store restores on Apple devices signed in to the same Apple Account, and Plus bought on Google Play restores on Android devices signed in to the same Google account. The two stores do not share purchases.

Which test kits does it work with?

Any of them. You tap or type the values from your kit, so it works with liquid tests, test strips, handheld checkers and lab results. The quick values follow the steps on common color cards.

What are the ideal ranges?

ReefLogix uses general reef targets: pH 8.1 to 8.4, ammonia 0 to 0.05 ppm, nitrite 0 to 0.1 ppm and nitrate 2 to 10 ppm. The support page explains every status.

Where do the species photos come from?

From Wikimedia Commons, shared by photographers under Creative Commons licenses or in the public domain. Every photo is credited in the app and on the photo credits page.
